Welcome to Swasthya Claim Assist. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms govern your access to and use of the Swasthya Claim Assist website, tools, and services (collectively, the “Platform”).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

Our services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old or have parental/legal guardian consent. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Description of Services

• Document processing and data extraction from medical claims using OCR and PDF tools.
• AI chatbot assistant that provides insurance and claims-related information.
• Summarization of uploaded documents for clarity and understanding.
• Insurance advisory using public data from IRDAI and internal recommendation logic.

4. User Responsibilities

• You agree to use the platform for lawful purposes only.
• You must not upload harmful, illegal, or fraudulent content.
• You are responsible for the security of your data and credentials.
• You must not attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or abuse the platform or its APIs.

5. File Handling and Retention

Uploaded files are processed temporarily for OCR and data extraction. Files are not stored permanently and are removed after processing is complete. The platform does not retain medical or personal documents beyond the session.

6. Intellectual Property

All platform content, including code, features, branding, and design, is the property of Swasthya Claim Assist. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use is strictly prohibited.

7. AI and Automation Disclaimer

The chatbot and document summarizer are AI-powered and provided “as is.” While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all responses or summaries are entirely correct or legally binding. Users should always verify with official sources.

8. Third-Party Services

Our services may rely on third-party APIs such as Gemini (for AI) and IRDAI data sources. We are not responsible for errors, downtime, or inaccuracies caused by third-party integrations.

9. Limitation of Liability

Swasthya Claim Assist is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this platform. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, failed claims, or misuse of information.

10. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or part of the platform at any time, with or without notice. Continued use of the platform after changes implies acceptance.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the platform at our discretion, especially in the case of misuse, violation of terms, or illegal activity.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be handled in the jurisdiction of the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal.
